Sea Horse Art Project After Reading Eric Carle's Book


After reading Eric Carle's book, MR. SEAHORSE, cut a sea horse from a coffee filter in the shape of a seahorse. Children color it with magic markers and then spray with water. Let dry. It will look similar to the book cover.

Samson Puppet


Each child cuts out 2 circles and glues long pieces of yarn between to make a Samson puppet to use during the Bible story. They can be given a pair of child-safe scissors to pretend to be Delilah during the telling of the story.

Peppermint Candies Photo Wreath

"The Sun Stood Still" Bible Story Visuals - Joshua 10


Have the children make 5 stand ups to represent the five armies who were attacking Gibeon and 1 standup to represent Joshua's army. Use Trix to represent the hail stones which God sent down from the sky against the enemy armies. The children can rain down the hail the the 5 enemy armies. Attach a round sun to a craft stick to reinforce about God stopping the sun in the sky so the daylight would last longer. God can do anything!
